The Few & The Trusted

List the people you admire and look to for advice…

As time has moved forward, the people whom I have trusted has dwindled significantly that has included family primarily cousins and siblings which impacts who I admire and seek advice from to friends.

Growing up, I was like many others my age an open book regarding my life because I didn’t have anything to hide. As I got older, I also became wiser after being burned from those who pretended to be a friend and who had their own agenda. Unfortunately, my siblings showed their true colors as well as my parents. Wisdom gained.

The few people who I trust out of admiration and advice are my sister, my friend who’s from VT who I met at work, and the ex husband of a former coworker. My friend who I get relationship viewpoints from including workplace politics. My sister is more financial chat since we both worked in banking/finance for most of our lives with family issues mixed in. The ex husband of a former friend/coworker gets some of everything although he has a tendency to go overboard that can be overwhelming. He has a good heart though.

Listening is the most important part that my feline divas, Bella and Luna, have been there for me more times than I can count. Before, it was Seville, Madrid, Adrian and Sukiyaki. My babies are my blessings who have fur instead of wings. My payment to them are treats and snuggles. They never let me down unlike the humans above on occasion.

The few & the trusted are rare.
