My OCD & My Favorite Brands

What are your favorite brands and why?

Being undiagnosed officially, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, I display many traits that influences my decision on my purchases. Truthfully, I obsess when things don’t work and I am thankful when they do. Here’s a brief look at my faves below.

Toyota. Currently, I own my second Corolla which I bought used. 2017 LE model in red that has only required periodic maintenance. I keep it in a garage when not in use. It design reminds me of my former VW Jetta but more reliable.

Apple. On my third iPhone which is a 13 plus I have an iPad that are both reliable and useful. The extra money is worth the quality. I do a lot on my devices so I need reliability.

Raleigh. Years ago, I purchased a Raleigh Technium 12 speed touring bike from an inheritance which my Dad was furious that I spent some change to buy a new one. 1997. Divorced and bought a home near the paved trails in west Michigan which the bike gave me freedom and therapy in one.

IKEA. My home has the furniture brand in my bedroom, living room and dining room that has a retro design that fits the time period of my home. Plus, I have the blue bags which one is in the cargo net of my Toyota that I put my grocery bags in so one trip to unload when I get home.

Poshmark. The brand is an online network of people who buy & sell from their closets. I have learned about POL, Easel, Zenana and Free People to name a few. Most sellers are willing to negotiate price on items respectfully but bidding way below market value doesn’t work. The Poshkings, a_girl_thing and others are my faves.

Others are Kenmore appliances, Hill’s Science Diet food for my cats, and Clinique Skincare and cosmetics that have done well also.

The above brands have all made my life more peaceful and less stressful which we all need. Live well and in peace.
