If there were a biography about you, what would the title be?
“Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You),” the song title from Kelly Clarkson is the presumed title of my biography sharing each phase of my life of the challenges that I overcame.
My whole life is that I have had to rely on my strength of being born premature and of being a free spirit to get over and through obstacles plus the continuous harassment.
Previously, I have written about episodes at my last employment of being harassed plus the games that they played which they thought that they could win. They didn’t. In the end, I lost my job but the games have ended.
The lyrics below that have given me strength and encouragement along with prayer.
“You know the bed feels warmer
Sleepin’ here alone (Sleepin’ here alone)
You know I dream in color
And do the things I want (Do the things I want)
You think you got the best of me
Think you’ve had the last laugh
Bet you think that everything good is gone
Think you left me broken down
Think that I’ll come running back
Baby, you don’t know me, ’cause you’re dead wrong
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger
Stand a little taller
Doesn’t mean I’m lonely when I’m alone
What doesn’t kill you makes a fighter
Footsteps even lighter
Doesn’t mean I’m over ’cause you’re gone
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, stronger
Just me, myself, and I
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger
Stand a little taller
Doesn’t mean I’m lonely when I’m alone
You heard that I was starting over with someone new
They told you I was moving on and over you
You didn’t think that I’d come back
I’d come back swinging
You tried to break me, but you see
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger
Stand a little taller
Doesn’t mean I’m lonely when I’m alone
What doesn’t kill you makes a fighter
Footsteps even lighter
Doesn’t mean I’m over ’cause you’re gone
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, stronger
Just me, myself, and I
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger
Stand a little taller
Doesn’t mean I’m lonely when I’m alone
Thanks to you, I got a new thing started
Thanks to you, I’m not the broken-hearted
Thanks to you I’m finally thinkin’ ’bout me
You know in the end, the day you left was just my beginning
In the end
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger
Stand a little taller
Doesn’t mean I’m lonely when I’m alone
What doesn’t kill you makes a fighter
Footsteps even lighter
Doesn’t mean I’m over ’cause you’re gone
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, stronger
Just me, myself, and I
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger
Stand a little taller
Doesn’t mean I’m lonely when I’m alone (What doesn’t kill you)
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, stronger
Just me, myself, and I (What doesn’t kill you)
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger (Stronger)
Stand a little taller (Taller)
Doesn’t mean I’m lonely when I’m alone (What doesn’t kill you)
When I’m alone”
Stay Strong! You’re not alone.
Leslie Elizabeth David.
I’m so sorry for all you have to go through.
I can completely relate to both your story and the song, especially the workplace experience.
Like the song said, their end was my beginning.
Stay very strong, lover.
If you can’t take it anymore, remember it’s okay to clap back in the way that terrifies them.
I know this may come off as a bad advice, but in my experience, it’s the only language these demons understand.
If they refuse to respect you through love, let them respect you through fear.

To me, in the long run, they’re a short chapter in my bigger story. Not worth expending good energy on my past. Their behavior will be returned in kind. Karma.
My energy is finding a job and accomplishing something that my intuition told me.
Thanks though, much appreciated.
