Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?
Yay! Happy Friday! Congrats! You and I both survived another week and another Holiday! Most businesses won’t start year end till Monday but will prep today. So, enjoy today!
Playtime to me refers anytime out of work when I fill my time with my felines, food, friends and adventure.
When I lived in Michigan in Detroit, northern part of the State and Grand Rapids, “playtime” in the winter months meant ice skating, sledding and downhill skiing. Tried cross country skiing a couple of times but it just wasn’t my jam. Biking in the summer months.
In Texas, “playtime” means road trips both short within an hour and long translates over an hour to all day adventure of a new town or region of Texas or crossing the border into Oklahoma or Louisiana. Also, it relates to being with my feisty feline divas who I need to be with them as the snack queen plus as a nap partner to them.
With my pending move back up to, “The Great White North,” I have fun window shopping online at properties in the small town where I went to high school. During the winter months of locals, the population is around 5k but jumps over 20k in the warmer months with private clubs and condos with tourists called “fudgies” because they support non essential businesses very well.
Finally, my “playtime” involves watching the latest Agatha Christie influence of a contemporary murder mystery usually filmed in some location in Europe.
Happy Friday!!
