Bella and Luna

For most of my life, I have been a cat Mom that I value very much plus felines growing up. Above are Bella to the left and Luna to the right who I got through a coworker who found them. There’s many reasons why people who adopt animals, below are the reasons why I have felines then I share their story.

One of the biggest reasons why I have felines in my life is because they are a good judge of character. If they don’t like you, chances are, I won’t either. Another reason is that they’re intelligent creatures who get out of impossible situations without getting hurt. In addition, they are great hunters who can corner a critter wisely without causing a ruckus and who can devour it without a mess. Plus, once you earn a feline’s trust, you never want to lose it.

Bella and Luna who, I found out later that I am their fourth human when I got them. They were under weight and food deprived plus full of fleas. They were previously abused emotionally from neglect. At that time, I was told that they were kittens but after they gained weight and grew substantially in a short period of time of being with me, they both went into heat. This happened just after I spent a lot of money and time at the veterinarian who gave them shots and physicals. After this, it was time of earning their trust by leaving them alone and giving them love and affection when they wanted it. Roughly about 4-5 months for them to truly trust me and for them to realize that we’re staying together. Believe that cats aren’t for everyone especially specific breeds like Siamese or Burmese. Even Maine Coons can be finicky at times. Grateful and blessed for all of my fur babies who loved me just as much as I loved them.
