What strategies do you use to maintain your health and well-being?

My day normally begins with a cup of tea and a bagel smeared with cream cheese while I watch some vintage British crime drama from Agatha Christie or someone else. Prior to that, I make sure that my feline divas have food, water and lots of kisses.

After that, I share from zero to 60 minutes from the feed on Poshmark of other closets to help others and expand my reach that sometimes results in a sale.

Then afterwards, I get ready for work with a thirty minute commute to face the craziness at work which the environment is toxic. Below is more on how I face each day.

Besides a healthy diet and exercise, I believe that knowing how to handle situations and gaining wisdom brings peace thus maintaining your well being. The power of silence with the power of wisdom has helped me divert experiencing some negative situations.

The power of silence of only speaking when necessary at work thus my productivity and quality up unlike most of my coworkers who do the opposite. A coworker who constantly never is quiet and who talks about her ex husband constantly is my prime example.

The power of wisdom. About one year ago at work, HR and CFO devised a plan to get me fired as fun for them. The CFO happens to be a divorced older gentleman who HAPPENS to look like my ex husband, wear flannel shirts like my ex husband and drives a newer version of a vehicle that my ex had when we were married. Wisdom told me to keep that quiet which provided laughter at home on the phone with my friend who lives 1300 miles away. Eventually, they gave up and they never knew about my ex because I chose to remain quiet and to act wisely.

In closing, eating healthy and being active with making wise decisions help with your well being thus affecting your health.

  1. The power of silence is one of the things that I have been working on. Although, my mind usually confuses it with closing off to myself and always being on guard, But I’m working on that so..

    1. It’s not easy to do. It took me awhile to get comfortable of the lack of sound. North wrong with being “closed off” once in awhile. Found myself a safe place emotionally and physically so I am not guarded.

      1. I mean I think that I can be kind of quiet in front of others but when I’m alone, I often have do say something that was on my mind randomly or start a conversation because being somewhere where I’m alone AND quiet feels kinda too hard.

      2. Yes, it’s hard. I talk to my cats once in awhile. At work, there’s someone who never stopped talking while everyone else was working. It was irritating that I was doing my job and she was socializing all day. Being quiet for her is like prison but I chose to remain quiet when she started talking.
