Trust

Trust is both a verb and a noun in grammatical English yet it carries a lot of weight for only being five letters long.

Dictionary.com defines trust as “reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing. Confidence. Noun. Verb is to expect confidently: hope usually followed by a clause or infinitive as object such as trusting. The business definition of trust doesn’t pertain to this writing.

Trust is part of every kind of relationship rather personal or professional. The stakes can be high on both depending on the intensity of the relationship. Truthfully, I trust only a couple of people without question of a family member and a friend. Romantically has been my most dreadful experiences with trust. My ex husband and a few ex boyfriends proved that trust is sacred and shouldn’t be given to everyone in full blindly.

We all share experiences on how badly we got burned by trusting others emotionally and sometimes financially.

INTUITION: MY STORY

Years ago, I went through a divorce which ay the time of my separation, a discussion came up about using intuition which I stated I was in sync with it. Complete lie.

Later that evening, I decided to fix my radar for my intuition being out of sync. I decided to lay down, shut my eyes and force myself into an unconscious state which didn’t work for a long time. I laid there for hours it seems.

Finally it hit! I went into a deep sleep after hours of my mind racing around. My mind relived everything from the moment that I decided to leave my future ex husband. Then, afterwards, I experienced the present then the future.

Since then, I have been able to slow down and breathe with regular maintenance.

Recently, I sensed something wasn’t right how people were acting. They were acting not their usual selves. Decided best to stay quiet. I moved where I was eating lunch to avoid confrontation in my car instead of the upstairs lobby where I ate before. My gut feeling was that they wanted me to get fired by falling for the lie that one of them was interested. One of them bragged that they were going to have me terminated that week although already had Friday off so I took Thursday off too. Those days off, I felt that lawyers from the company were removing the situation. Still employed.

If you’re not a believer in intuition or gut feeling, my experience may sound crazy to you like a family member would say until I talk her on the phone and start mentioning things. My experience is more of feeling than seeing unless it is a dream.

My suggestion for those who don’t believe, I encourage you to learn about others experiences of those who you trust,

Thanks for your time,

Leslie Elizabeth David.
