Feel strongly that it’s been placed on my heart to write an “op-ed” on a hot topic. The New York Times and The Washington Post are the best places to submit one which the Times have already judged me on previous submissions leaving the Post as my choice. There’s another media outlet but don’t remember.
Figuring it out in my head and my heart before going to paper and pen or keyboard. Being here, I’ve learned confidence and I’ve read different perspectives and beautifully written. Learned that the writer cannot use a pseudo name for protection but the outlets like controversial subjects.
Challenge yourself when you’re ready. Even a local paper offers op-Ed’s.
