How has technology changed your job?
In order to stay in the fold, retailers must use technology in every aspect of business.
For example, one can open a locked cabinet with an app on a mobile phone then add inventory then on another using an app to clock out on your phone to go to lunch. Supervisors and leads verify an employee’s presence as well as hidden cameras. Plus, smart phones and apps manage inventory too.
Coming from an insurance agency that had processes pre computer era that took time and energy to process, the retailer is a breath of fresh air.
