Manners Opens Doors

What’s something most people don’t understand?

When I was born and raised many years ago, I was taught that proactively saying your manners matters. In some cases, even open doors of opportunity.

The times of being tested are when emotions are high and times of disrespect are present and manners/politeness are gone.

Being moved around at work after moved to a different department with a mega retailer, it would test my patience normally and my mood honestly. I appreciate the opportunity although rumors are flying where I’m going but my department code says differently so I just stay quiet and polite.

In my younger years, I felt that the issue was more important than being kind and using my manners but I learned quickly that it’s wrong. Business requires certain protocols of behavior in order to stay employed and for success.

Thank you,
