To supplement my unemployment and my future social security retirement payments, I got a job at a well known retailer that is national.
My mistake is that I applied for a job blindly of a digital consumer shopper without checking out location and not cashier/front of the house that would be a better fit. Other locations weren’t hiring near my home so I drove 30 minutes to get there. After coming down with a bad cold, I have called in sick for a few days. Today, I asked to be transferred to a job by second in command but who knows. Don’t think much will be done. Just another body passing through.
Grateful for a phone interview on Monday. Believe that it will work out in the end. Prayers appreciated.
