Who are your favorite people to be around?
My favorite people to be around, mainly, our my lifetime friends whom I’ve known since kindergarten in metro Detroit. Amazingly, we’re 64 years old too. Grateful that we found each other on Facebook and have stayed connected.
In addition, outside of my lifetime friends, my other favorite people are those who challenge me and push my limits kindly because they believe that I can accomplish the goals set before me.
Sometimes, even the worst of those who hate me for reasons of their own regard and, maybe, just taking up space on this planet in close proximity to them, are sometimes my favorites too. These people are the ones who challenge me and who push me sometimes too far but I relearn my strength, my grit and my stretched thin patience. Even my foes can be my favorites in rare moments.
In closing, our dearest friends who will comfort and help guide us through difficult times and our foes will push us to our limits and patience in times of tests and trials. We need them both to feel loved and to be tested. With my recent loss of employment, I can relate to this.
