Tell us about your favorite pair of shoes, and where they’ve taken you.
The song title, “Walking on Sunshine,” by Katrina and The Waves can only describe the comfort of these old shoes. From the very recent picture, they have seen much better days.
These shoes are,”Grasshoppers,” that I bought maybe seven years ago that I’ve worn everywhere including work when they didn’t look like they do now. Flights, road trips and walking are what I wore these shoes for and some casual work environments.
Buying a brand name shoe or boots are rare for me unless I can get my size 6 shoe on sale. The exceptions are my downhill ski boots and my biking shoes to hold my foot on the pedal. Other than that, work and leisure are usually Amazon footwear with a brand that I never heard of.
Today, after visiting my job search session with Texas Workforce, I’ll be coming home to change my clothes and my shoes that are so comfortable that feels like I’m, “Walking On Sunshine.”
