Bank Teller Budgeting

Write about your approach to budgeting.

Being a former Teller for both banks and credit unions plus held positions in accounting and lending, my approach to budgeting is simple. Plus, it’s been shared with those who needed to improve credit scores thus creating a time budget to make payments on time.

Normally, I start with my take home amount after deductions from the gross amount. Start with my mortgage first then work down to groceries and gas money. My budgets are on paper handwritten and not on my devices for safety.

My house payment is divided and adjusted from the first to the last check of the month to end up with the total payment to be paid on the last day of the month. Extra funds go to extra payments or savings.

Being unemployed, my budget is strained. Although, I decided to apply to a franchise where I buy gas and actually that has their own kitchens with a deli.

Keeping my budget simple and straightforward.

Peace Out,
