Where can you reduce clutter in your life?
Currently, the only clutter in my home is my Poshmark closet inventory of which it hasn’t been sold or donated as of yet.
My Poshmark inventory was all moved into the same space a few months ago when I thought that I was going to start presenting a live sale on the site. Then the decision came about to close it down altogether so I’m now in the process of donating it down to various charities in my area with the bonus of my sales has had an uptick.
Amazingly, when I consolidated the inventory plus emptied out my linen closet it was rather freeing to see what will be eventually going with me and what will be donated. Decided to get out of Poshmark when I thought that I was moving to Milford CT but put things in motion when I know that I’m going back to the northern shores of Lake Michigan.
Truthfully, I’ve seen many top sellers in Poshmark and other sites where the inventory takes over their homes while some sell full time and others still work outside of their house. Most of them primarily travel for their closet which I travel for adventure and for fun.
The empty plastic bins that currently protect inventory will be used to pack up my own clothing and other items eventually for our move.
“Poshing it down” referenced by some on the app as reducing inventory through sales or by meaningful donations to eventually exit the site as a seller for good.
Finally, one can find many great things on Poshmark and similar sites that have started many small businesses that as a whole have challenged the traditional brick and mortar department stores and boutiques in sales and in way of doing business.
Happy Friday!
