Lately, I was obsessing about fixing a relationship from the past from up north where I plan to move back too. Although, I have lots of friends, I wondered why my high school years were difficult.
Truthfully, I felt like it’s a no win situation because genuine relationships are easy. Plus, we’ve been bucking heads since high school where I believe that I’m spoiled and everything is given to me. Far from the truth. I never invited her for firewood days of clearing out brush from the forest and splitting it. Plus, other fun family projects.
Today, I remembered the day of her birthday which is close to my Dad’s in the beginning of November who my relationship with him has never been great. Call it astrology or something more. They’re both Scorpios and I’m Sagittarius. For fun, I actually read compatibility thinking it was me but not so. Politely, it’s a train wreck.
Grateful for the inkling to discover more about her that fits perfectly. It’s not all me. Yay! Will keep my distance and the conversation light.
