Trilogy of three different movies which I found the last two on Netflix and the first on Prime.
The third focuses on religion, two is on social media and influencers and the first one is about family relations with the patriarch being a famous writer.
“Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” is when individuals who never met but are successful in what they do are invited to a remote island where someone will be murdered. Number two in the series is about the cost of success as social media influencers from different genres. The movie is complex of human emotion and interaction. Surprising turns.
“Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery,” is about a young priest that is assigned to a rural church to help the senior leader to fix the decline in attendance and in membership. There’s a community of people who come together and live through the crime like number two above. All of them have something to hide and something to gain.”
The original Knives Out is a thriller regarding the death of a famous mystery writer plus a group of unique and interesting people are bought together for a series of actions to determine the killer like the two sequels.
Tonight, I plan to be awake till 1am CST to finish watching all three. Grateful for Netflix for the last installment acknowledging its place as being in the top ten for December.
Pop your popcorn, get out your favorite beverages with friends or family for a night of thrillers.
Yours Truly,
Leslie Elizabeth David.
