As my British crime drama obsession continues, I have discovered, “Harry Wild,” starring Jayne Seymour who stars as a mature private investigator who works in the rural UK with a young male partner.
As with every other British crime drama, the famous novelist Agatha Christie influence is common with the strong lead character such as, “Miss Marple,” who used her knowledge and wisdom plus female strengths of intuition and instinct.
Jayne Seymour alone brings class, well written scripts and fellow actors to the series as well as locations. Her influence is apparent such as her younger male partner in crime.
To appreciate this series to the fullest, I encourage you to watch as much Agatha Christie books into film as possible prior. Hallmark romance is systematic in every movie which is why I changed genres.
