Revelation

After attending my work Christmas party last Saturday, somethings came to light.

About 18 months or so ago, the Finance guy was acting unusually nice to me since I am a phone receptionist and outgoing mail processor. It continued for months which my gut feeling was that him and HR were trying to get me fired for having a fake relationship with him. I didn’t bite. They eventually gave up. Afterwards, I told one of the owners sons that this individual reminded of my ex husband because of his flannel, his Ford Bronco and appearance. That individual told everyone in the executive office about the resemblance but was unaware of the plot to fire me.

Fast forward to company Christmas party last weekend, I felt extremely uncomfortable in attending for the reasons above. Amazingly though, HR and finance were kind to me. The unexpected moments were that the owner and her daughter in law were both extremely rude to me although I have never been communicated of any wrongdoing at all. My revelation is that the owner and daughter in law wanted to get rid of me so they come with the plan that failed. HR is tight with the owner as well as the finance guy.

As my birthday and Christmas approaches, I will count my blessings of being able to see things that the human eye can’t and be able to listen to what isn’t being said.
