Less Waste

Daily writing prompt
What could you do less of?

Truthfully, one being less wasteful of many levels can benefit a person and populations on a larger scale.

On a personal level, I don’t like to waste time, money and/or resources on people who aren’t sticking around and things that don’t have value. In time, people will reveal themselves and things don’t last. Recycle and reuse.

On a professional level being a Six Sigma Greenbelt, I’m all in on efficiency yet allowing time for creativity. Also, those who misuse their time on the clock for social interaction instead of working are wasteful and unprofessional. My job, I rarely socialize and focus on the tasks on hand to get them done in a timely manner.

My online closet has inventory of very good to excellent condition clothing that has and will continue to be donated to various charities that help those who are in need in various ways. Nothing going to waste in a landfill.

Be less wasteful personally and professionally requires intentional actions to analyze situation, to evaluate options and then to act accordingly. Save yourself time and money.

Yours Truly,
