I’m Done

My patience has run out. Learned from a coworker who was irritated with me because I was doing my job and forwarding him calls told me that he would be happy when our mutual employer installs an automated phone system to reduce the number of incoming calls. My immediate supervisor who tried backtracking the damage already done after I contacted him about it. My job is answering the phone, scanning documents and folding, metering and dropping the mail off at the post office.

Afterwards, another coworker put some outgoing mail in the wrong place which I missed taking to the post office. While there, I realized that I didn’t have the missing mail.

Truthfully, it hurts. I was taught that you arrive early and get the job done thoroughly, completely and correctly before you go home. My Dad was an osteopathic physician who believed that 40 hours a week was part time work as well as his Dad who was an engineer for Ford.

In a couple of years, I plan to move to Connecticut about 90 minutes north of NYC. I already have a buyer who wants to buy my home as investment property too. Maybe, this is a steps towards my goal. I don’t believe in coincidence or happen stance.

Thanks for allowing me to vent. I feel a bit better about it. My first thought afterwards was that, “I’m done.”
