As much as I am excited for the future, I think that the present and the past are important too. To me, life is an adventure in of itself.
Yesterday, my felines haven’t been to the veterinarian since I had gotten them. They were afraid that they would be left behind like in the past so I stayed with them the whole time. The energy in our vehicle was of fear although I kept saying that they would have treats when we got home. When we got there, I stayed with them the whole time in the lobby and in the treatment room. I left twice to get a beverage and to ask a question. During part of the treatment session, each one left separately for a period of time. They were at peace. On the way home, I sensed that we got over a huge hurdle of trust. Since I got custody of them, I have been with them every single day for over two years now.
In about five weeks, I am traveling to the east coast outside of the NYC area to “window shop” for a decent condo in a safe location. Staying in a different hotel and plan on doing different things since my first two trips. My cats will be a concern so I will be calling daily so that they hear my voice. It’s one of those things that I know will happen but don’t know how much like my move where I live now.
“What am I most excited about for the future?” Is of living a full and complete life with purpose. An adventure.
Thank you,
Leslie Elizabeth David.
