My favorite music is old school Motown since I was born across the street from some of the artists and I listened to it primarily growing up.
Marvin Gaye, Diane Ross and The Supremes plus David Ruffin who all came out of the projects. I still listen to them to this day.
Used to see Bob Seger at the Tiger games at the old stadium. A friend of mine who went to school with Madonna.
Motown Records did eventually move to Los Angeles although there’s a museum in Detroit celebrating the mark it made on the world.
Old school Motown is my favorite followed by rock music such as Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith. Saw The Rolling Stones at the Pontiac Silverdome in 1983. Worked for a outdoor music venue so I saw many famous bands like Chicago, Doobie Bros and Def Leppard.
