His music helped me heal my emotional pain of my divorce years ago in the mid 1990s although I knew who he was prior. Afterwards, I kept an eye on his career but didn’t really listen to his music again till much later. One day about ten years ago, he popped into my head and never left. Started listening to his music again which bought me joy this time around. No complaints. So, I started encouraging him on social media when others wanted his attention which made me stand out to him, his manager and his family. Ironically, he made a documentary about Detroit where I grew up long before the good things that are happening there now. Then, I finally attended concerts in Louisiana and Texas. Then, one day, I had a vision about him with his Mother who passed away years before. It was weird. Not sure if he ever believed me of the vision. It changed everything because him and his family were weary of what I would do. Truthfully, I had to work through it on my own. When he started seeing someone who I hoped that it would have last, it was a relief for me. At the time, I was working at an investment firm second shift when lots of interesting calls came in some from celebrities and other interesting people which I believe that I talked to him on more than one occasion which was a true joy.
Later on, I decided to visit Connecticut hoping for closure. Kayaked at one of his daughter’s marina and paddle club then shopped locally at a boutique. I respected their space and time as they did mine. That trip, I drove to Providence Rhode Island along I-95 where I turned around at Attleboro MA when I could see Boston in the distance. Plus, I visited Sally’s Apizza in New Haven which was his favorite growing up there and Via Sporza in Westport CT. My second visit which was no contact with the family only to visit a beach where I found some peace. Thankful that him and his family learned quickly that I am not the threat as originally thought because of the vision.
Michael Bolton released the book recently below through Powerhouse Books by Schuster &Schuster of pictures documented throughout his life. Worth the purchase. His music lives on as well as his television appearances in sitcom and talk shows.
Understand that there might be comments which I experienced after the vision and before with my encouragement to him, I can handle them here too. Give him and his family privacy for his health and well being.
The vision itself when I was totally conscious and aware of my surroundings plus I could feel pressure on the back of my neck literally. Then, I laid down and seemed to go to a different place. I felt like I was in an unused room in his house near the garage but view of the lake near the end of the deck. Older furniture that was used for long periods of time. Small closet with an internet cluster to plug in a desk top and printer. The windows were bay type wall to wall almost floor to ceiling. Walls were a muted medium blue. After she got done speaking, I was home. Afterwards, I was honest with Mr. Bolton and family about my experience. A few people who told me that his Mom believed in intuition, visions and dreams. Please don’t judge.
