Years ago, before I moved to Texas, I knew that I was moving to Texas almost three years before from west Michigan. Now, it’s Connecticut to be nearer my sister and my distant relatives plus to be near water again.
Like before, I got ahead of myself which created worries and concerns on how it’s going to happen. Like before, I have chosen to step back and enjoy life a bit instead of being on the go constant. I still plan to visit in August and I may “window shop” a few areas of a new residence but I want to enjoy the peacefulness of the Long Island Sound across from the bustling NYC.
Stepping back will give me and my feline divas some time to enjoy life and to learn more about this site and to sell productively on my online closet. Right now, Texas will be going through the hottest time of the year which is the most challenging for me since I have lived most of my life in areas where the hottest it gets might be 85 degrees with a lake effect breeze and not 100 degrees plus.
For Michigan residents, I think Florida and Texas are the top two States where residents move to then numerous others. Each of us had to adjust from the change in weather and change in lifestyle to live not just survive.
Have you experienced this before? How did you manage making huge life decisions? Did you and were you able financially and situationally to move?
Appreciate your feedback which learning about your experience or someone else will benefit me and possibly others too.
Yours Truly,
Leslie Elizabeth David
