”Vacation is all the I ever wanted. Vacation, happy to get away.” The GoGo’s “Vacation” says it all. In August, I will be at the beach below in the Long Island Sound area which I haven’t been in three years. The name? Honestly, I can’t remember it plus I looked extensively as well. My clue is that it’s between Stamford and New Haven. Truthfully, I miss the water so much. The Grand Haven City Beach in Grand Haven MI is another one of my beaches that is far away from the action of the State Park and the Grand River Riverwalk. Sometimes, one connects to people, places and things that don’t make sense.
In August, I plan to be in the general area to “window shop” for possibly a new residence in the future. Flying into a different airport than previously plus a different hotel in a different city as well.
Where is your sanctuary place? Is it far from your home? Is it a place of worship? Calvary Church in Grand Rapids MI was once mine. When do you visit like when you need space or when you can?
