Attitude defined by Dictionary.com as noun,” a settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something, typically one this is reflected in a person’s behavior.” Informal of North American similar to truculent, uncooperative or resentful of someone having an “attitude” problem.
The third one describes my attitude perfectly today. I even gave myself a lecture about my bad attitude when I was at lunch which my parents would be amazed that I actually listened to them when I was in this state of mind.
You might ask, “Did you wake up with a bad attitude?” My response is, “No.” It started happening at work with issues with a scanner that I use to retain documents which was acting finicky so I got irritated with it. Next was the customer calls that were coming in, the answers would have been common sense. Plus, with the heat outside, I got tired plus a coworker who doesn’t know when to be quiet. She overshares her personal life way too much for my taste as I rarely talk outside of work topics. So, I put up with it. Going to the supervisor would be pointless since she kisses up to him relentlessly.
After lunch, it did get better a bit and did my best to accept things the way they are. At work, I focus on the tasks at hand throughout the day to get everyone done that needs to be. Then, after work, I am quite social with my childhood friends on Facebook and communicating with a long time friend as well.
Thank you for putting up with my imperfect self. Love to hear your stories as well.
