Happy Hump Day! Wednesday.
My cats are rescues so some of their behavior is from not living in a stable environment prior to me. They like to drink from a small teacup on the bottom of the sink. Luna messed with it emptying all the water, I got mad then she broke one of my Fiesta ware mugs. I quickly apologized to her. It can be replaced.
Another challenge is the early heat in Texas along with the extreme weather so I am regulating my air conditioning to turn on when it hits a reasonable temperature. Need to save money when I can.
My final challenge is at work where someone who should have been terminated for using the postal meter machine to add shipping label for her ex husband without permission and payment. In addition, her and her buddies do way more socializing than other departments. My supervisor now sees her as a “friend” making it impossible to get my work done when I need things. Without an HR manual on expected behavior, anything goes. Oddly enough, the State examiners are back again.
Challenges are part of life as you know. They keep us on our toes to learn and to do better like patience for my babies, like reasonable changes for my house and minding my own business at work and letting karma work.
What are your challenges and obstacles? How are you working through them? What do you share with your adult children and grandchildren?
Thank you for your time,
Leslie Elizabeth David.
